The author of one book and many published essays and op-ed pieces on politics, Dave Crystal is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received Honors in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. He was a columnist for the Daily Pennsylvanian and a contributor to Penn’s prestigious journal of political science, Sound Politicks. Additionally, he has been the subject of articles in Front Page Magazine, The Jerusalem Post, PhiladelphiaWeekly, The Forward, The Miami Herald, The Lead: Miami Beach, SunPost Weekly and The Jewish Exponent. Mr. Crystal has a long history of political involvement including presiding over the Young Leadership District of the Zionist Organization of America, and working for conservative Democrat Assemblyman Eric Vitaliano (D-NY). His professional history includes: being an investment manager research analyst for Merrill Lynch; a licensed financial advisor; the President of 3rd Channel, an e-commerce solutions company; and the founder of Crystal Clear Tutors (WWW.CrystalClearTutors.com). He has lectured at many fine institutions including Books&Books, Aish Hatorah, The Hineini Center, NYU, and Penn. Mr. Crystal also has an MBA from the University of Miami.

A proud resident of Miami Beach, Mr. Crystal has served his community by being the Secretary of the 5600 Condo Association, the President of the 7149 Bay Drive Association, a Director of the Miami Beach Leadership Academy Alumni Association, a member of the Request For Qualifications Committee for the new Miami Beach Convention Center, a board member of Miami Voice, a member of Miami Beach United and a volunteer tutor in the Miami Beach Senior High tutor program. He is a recipient of the 2007 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Beauty and the Best Award and a 2009 Jewish Community Hero Award. He was also one of the chief organizers of the 2010 “Fair Play For Israel” rally in downtown Miami.
